This product must be accompanied by an Adult (a parent or elder 18 years of age needs to be with the kid when hiring this bike). You also need 2 adults present to lift the bike off its wall stand, its an easy light lift but best safety 2 is best.

We highly recommend using this hire option at Dunedins Marlow Park (Click here for more info) and we do a drop-off option delivered to the park, click here to book that as an extra.

Take the kids along the journey on our Merida’s Matts J20 Lite kids bike which is a durable and lightweight aluminum kids bike with 20” wheels and rigid fork to maximize pedal power. Your Mountain Bike hire includes free helmet, cycle map (activity brochure), bike padlock is all included + fresh filtered drinking water onsite to fill your water bottles.

Collect bikes from our self-serving (kiosk) at city location (10 Harrow Street) which is central to the City CBD and also located at the start of Harbour Cycle Loop, positioned to go either way (down Portobello direction or Port Chalmers). Plan ahead and lock in your booking here or take chances and rock up on the day. We strongly recommend booking ahead to secure your bike. We are open 7 days a week from 730am to 8pm.

This is a great starting point for completing the harbour loop or if you only want to explore one side of our amazing cycle network that our Peninsular and Harbour provides. Or simply head in and explore our city. The most popular is to complete the harbour loop & also book the Ferry with Port to Port. Whether you’re a local, visitor from a cruise ship or tourist travelling to Dunedin, let us power your ride to places you might not otherwise visit.
