User Guide info when booking this product online: Note that once you get to the booking page when selecting hire times/duration: If using a Computer mouse click on desired start time, then drag your mouse down to desired end time & click. If using mobile phones click the start time with your finger followed by clicking desired end time.
Your Bike: For those who enjoy traditional bikes (not electric), we have these hardtail Mountain Bikes (Norco & Bobcats), great for sealed surfaces like our harbour loop, exploring around town or off-road tracks as they have front suspension & super comfy Gel seats & even Displays units that show calories & distance ridden. Includes: Free helmet, cycle map (activity brochure), bike padlock, puncher repair kit (tool & pump) and water bottle holders + fresh filtered drinking water onsite to fill your own water bottles.

Great flexibility: Every day of the week (open 7am to 8pm) so you can enjoy early morning ride or evenings! Short 1-2 hour rides, half day or full day you control this when booking the system allows you to select start and end times. All hires must be returned by 8pm if you booked a late evening ride.
Plan ahead and secure your booking online or take chances and rock up on the day. We strongly recommend booking ahead to secure your bike. Once you book an email will immediately follow providing you with clear and simple instructions on how to access bikes + safety instructions (printed instructions also displayed at site).
Your bikes will be collected from our fancy self-serving building (kiosk) located at 10 Harrow Street which is central to the Cities CBD which is also located at the start of Harbour Cycle Loop tracks! You be positioned to go either way (down Portobello direction or Port Chalmers).
Restrictions: Note generally riders need to be at least 150cm which is 4' '11" or taller. If you’re under the age of 16 then you must be accompanied & supervised by an adult of least 18 years of age.
Explore: This is a great starting point for completing the harbour loop or if you only want to explore one side of our amazing cycle network that our Peninsular and Harbour provides.
